About Me

I love doing hair. It's not just the work and the creativity; it's the relationships, the conversations and the stories we share. It's therapy through hair.

I have over 16 years of experience in styling, educating, leading and training.

My career began in 2007 when I completed an apprenticeship under my mentor, Michael Levine at Statik Salon in Vancouver. Almost immediately he recruited me as the Lead Coordinator and Educator in launching The Vancouver Hair Academy. I am very proud of this accomplishment.

Education has been a fundamental part of my development. I consider it the key to a happy and successful career. Whether I'm teaching or learning I have been fortunate to train with some of the best names in the business (for more on this, please refer to Training and Education).

Having travelled the world I eventually made my way back home to Vancouver Island. I have since taught at Aveda and worked at the best salons in Victoria - David Levi, Kande and I am now running my own chair at Cadence.
